Winter is one of our most beautiful times of the year for a family portrait. The white snow makes the subjects stand out, the clothing colors are more vibrant and just jumps off the portrait. We love photographing in the snow. With winter being a big part of our weather in Utah it is something many of us like to display on our walls. We love to capture those first memories and moments of a newborn baby. It is within this first week of life that is so important to capture. It is within this first week that your newborn will still curl up, still has that cute little baby hair on their back and will still sleep during the session. Newborn sessions are the hardest sessions to have everything come together but the most rewarding, that is way we schedule 1 1/2 hours for each session. This was a fun family to photograph. The boys were so excited they could hardly contain themselves. This has been a popular sitting with us this summer, we love the Wasatch Mountains and the look and feel that represents the Wasatch front and where we call home.

We (Bruce and Tammy) want to share two of the cutest most adorable girls with you. They were so much fun to photograph. The weather was not the best, we sit in the truck waiting for dry spells or to get warm. The girls were great and never complained.

You can also see some of our images and work on Face Book, if you have not "fan our page" then please follow the link to Jolley's fan page and like us.

We started at one location, got rained on shortly after we started and then moved to a different location. All in all the shoot went well even though it was wet.

The rain does help to saturate the colors, we love shooting shortly after it stops raining.

We love doing outdoor sittings. Here is a cute family we photographed down in Lehi in a urban setting.

They ordered Christmas Cards and they are adorable (they have not seen the cards yet). During the shoot it started to snow just a little bit and we were hoping for enough to show in the photo's but it never happened.

We have killer cards this year. We can't show all the cards but here are just a couple samples.

We have been so busy with fall sessions the last few weeks. If your looking for a fall session in the next three weeks it will have to be during the weekdays. Our weekends are booked until October 31st and just two spots on that date. The foliage is spectacular this time of year, the reds, the yellows and greens mixed with a rust and purple. You have to love this time of year exspecially up in our Wasatch mountains. The colors are slowly moving down to the valley and so will we as the leaves change in our local favorite spots to photograph.

Here is a family we have photographed many times over the past few years. They wanted something different for their Christmas cards this year so we photographed them in Ogden at the old railroad station.

Here is cute family we have been photographing for years. They have a new addition to their family.

He is a cute little bug. His older brother wasn't into the shoot but had fun checking everything out in the studio.

This is older brother when he was a baby. He has grown a lot in almost three years.

Fall Sessions.......

The leaves are starting to change and look beautiful. We don't usually like to post images of ourselves but we couldn't help but to take some shots of the colors while on our ride yesterday. If you have not booked your fall session yet it is time. We only have a couple of times available the next few Saturdays, we can only do so many fall sessions because of time. We are also available during the week for those who are lucky enough to get off work.

We will customize your session to what and where you are looking for. There are a lot of cool places that are in color are will be in the next 3 or 4 weeks.

The fall foliage is suppose to be early and short because of the hot and dry August and September we are having and by the looks of our ride yesterday the weather forecasters are going to be right.

Hillcrest High School Senior.......

Here is a high school senior we photographed a couple of weeks ago.

She was a lot of fun to photograph. Her parents and two brothers came along for the shoot. We have photographed her family a few times before.

This isn't her car but she loved the car so we took advantage of it. If you look real close you can tell it's raining.

About half of our seniors want studio and the other half wants location. We have three or four cool areas we like to photography seniors on location.

Fall is just around the corner. Have you looked up at the Wasatch Mountains lately? The trees are starting to change and red is already showing. We still have a few openings on Saturdays for fall sessions but they are filling fast. We also do sittings on Sundays so give us a call.
